The Rook & Pawn

The Rook & Pawn is a unique cafe in Athens that attracts customers with over 400 board and card games. In reviewing their social media marketing strategy, I found that the Rook & Pawn has an active mailing list, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube. Looking through the Rook & Pawn's social media accounts, it doesn't take long to see that they do a stellar job. Below, see examples of their content on these accounts. 

The Rook & Pawn is the first local Athens coffeehouse that I have come across that I don't feel needs to improve on their social media strategy. As one of the first board game cafes in the Southeast U.S., they have an extremely unique brand and do a great job of putting that across to their followers on social media. They post interesting content related to their business and promote their cafe without coming across as pushy. On top of that, they create a two-way conversation with followers to keep them engaged and encourage them to visit. I am glad that I saved the Rook & Pawn as the final cafe to analyze as I feel that others falling behind could use Rook & Pawn's current practices as an example to follow.
